The view from the patio door and window of the lake is awesome. The character of the house is playful in Swedish, like in the three bedrooms, but also with a modern 'touch' for the comfort-conscious guest. Villa Hultängen is well suited for 6 people. The three bedrooms are not only equipped with beds, but also with a comfortable seating area. Baths and saunas meet the modern standard. The terrace is huge: you can grill, sit comfortably and enjoy the beautiful view. The usual comforts such as dishwashers, washing machines, freezers, microwaves etc. are a matter of course. Electric towel warmer and shoe dryer will make you feel comfortable.
Villa Hultängen is located on a 135,000 sqm private area and is well shielded by trees and bushes on the street side. Apart from the lawns around the house, you can grill on this huge property not only on the terrace, but also at the campfire site by the lake. Perhaps you would also like to retreat to a small forest or have fun in one of the meadows: the property simply gives everything. A canoe is ready for you on the lake shore, just 350 meters away. The riparian zone is pretty flat for the first 20 to 40 meters. (Information for families with young children.) The lake is of drinking water quality. The ring road around the lake is an ideal terrain for bike tours. The house is not only suitable for summer guests, but also for winter vacationers due to its good access to the street in ice and snow.
The Rottnansee, on which the house is located, is hardly accessible for tourists - good for you if you want to experience pure nature. The Swedish king felt the same way, which is why he has his summer residence here on Lake Rottnansee. But if you really want to 'get on with it' for tourism, you will find pretty much everything you need in a ten to fifteen-minute drive (20 km): a water park with an incredible number of slides in Sunne am Frykensee, with a bowling alley, mini Golf and discotheque next door - and if you don't want to drive that far, Rottneros Park with an adventure playground for children and the manor house with its wonderful facilities for adults. Everything is right on one of the many lakes as it should be, including the golf course, which despite its fantastic location offers fair prices.
The journey as a valuable part of the holiday: the journey to the holiday destination does not have to be tiring. Even those who use the ferry connection to Sweden via Puttgarden will appreciate the 'coffee break' on the ship. But why don't you even travel by ferry from Kiel to Oslo? From Oslo there are only 2 hours driving to us: You stayed on the ferry and enjoyed the beautiful entry into the Oslo Fjord in the morning - so the last section is a pleasure. Fortify yourself at the Scandinavian buffet of the ferry and take your time for a stroll through Oslo! By the way: the ferry is not that expensive if you book in time. Some of our guests are even smart early bookers and reserve the ferry at the same time as the holiday home: there is a little cruise feeling. The route from Kiel to Gothenburg is also recommended. From Gothenburg there are still 4 hours by car to us: Every part of the section that counts counts. Make the journey over the Baltic Sea part of your vacation!
