Positive: Very nice little cottage. Well equipped. Wonderful view.

Negative: The house is only reachable on a very strong slope. There is a lovely beach, but it also requires quite a climb. Unfortunately, Booking.com did not forward all the information from the landlord. The only message we received was that we would wake up with the most wonderful view. So, we hardly could find the place. We also did not get the code to enter the property, so we hung around for an hour or two. It started raining and we could not get inside the house. The cottage does not have a house number and we did not get an address, the names on the door did not match the information we got from booking.com. The number for emergencies was not active, we only got a message in Danish from an answering machine. I left a message to the host on Booking.com. He rang me after an hour or two and said that he was not aware that his house was on booking.com. He had used the Danish version of AirBnB. He said that all the messages had not been forwarded. When we finally got the code we still had to carry all our stuff down the steep slope. The landlord was very apologetic and obviously upset about booking.com not forwarding any messages. Given all the destress we would like to be compensated by booking.com for some of the costs. A night in a hotel for three persons would be appropriate.
