Nestling in the fells of Central Lapland the unspoilt village of Luosto lies 90 minutes north of the Arctic Circle and offers an intimate encounter with the wilderness of Lapland. First class activities and accommodation are coupled with a stunning natural environment. The local ski slopes are great for beginners and will provide good entertainment for more experienced skiers. When they die they remain standing for many years while the severe polar climate slowly makes the pine wood strong like a stone, A superb eco building material with excellent insulation properties which will not shrink. These beautiful logs retain a deep orange colour inside whilst gently releasing their pine fragrance to produce a very comfortable natural, relaxing living environment.
