This small farm is 7 km from Loftahammar, in the archipelago exactly on the border between the Småland and Östergötland landscape, as in the films by Astrid Lindgren. Now we rent the house as a holiday home. The house is south-west facing with the sun as long as it shines. A wonderful view of this bay in the archipelago. The area consists of mushroom-rich forest and pasture for the cows of the neighbor. Blå kusten (Blue Coast) - Tjust skärgård is the name of our region if you turn north of Västervik, from the E22, right to Loftahammar. In our village Loftahammar there are shops, petrol stations, restaurants and a large boat harbor for pleasure boats with everything that goes with it. After Udda Gård you come from Loftahammar after about 7 km towards Flatvarp.
From our boat rope you can reach the small cliff islands on the edge of the coast in a few minutes. Almost alone in the great outdoors for swimming, sunbathing and fishing.
The house: The house is located in the southwest with the sun as long as it shines. A wonderful view of this bay in the archipelago. This typical red-colored wooden house from 1860 is being completely (May 2011) completely renovated with care and provided with all modern facilities. On the ground floor you will find a large living room, kitchen with dining table and shower room with toilet, shower, sink and washing machine. Upstairs 2 bedrooms one approx. 15 sqm with 2 beds and one 23sqm with 3 beds between the two bedrooms, another shower room with toilet. Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price. Final cleaning must be done by the tenant.
The house is located on a garden plot with fruit trees right on the water with its own boat house, boat platform, large sun terrace with garden furniture, boat place and bathing rocks. The area consists of mushroom-rich forest and pasture for the cows of the neighbor. The archipelago is rich in fish with pike, perch, zander, whitefish, eel lax, Baltic herring etc which you can fish right in front of the house.
Here you can enjoy tranquility in the undisturbed environment of the forest and the archipelago.
