From the area's car park you can walk about 2 km to a pleasant accommodation in a quiet and peaceful environment with the coastal forests, the sea and swimming opportunities right around the corner. Öddö is one of several islands in the area, there are plenty of easy-to-tread paths that run criss-cross across these islands. Here you can hike in everything from straight-stemmed pine forests, unique Bohuslinden trees and sandy beaches to weather-exposed rock outcrops and shingle fields, the islands have several nature reserves and also a national park, Kosterhavet National Park, one of Sweden's most species-rich areas. The area has both mushrooms and berries, and there are also good opportunities to catch your own fish. From the cottage you can walk to one of the area's piers and from there take the local passenger ferry to both Strömstad and the Koster Islands. The cottage is on one level with an open kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker, a cozy living room with dining room furniture, sofa and armchairs. The living room has large windows that provide generous views of nature, TV, 3 bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed and two bedrooms each with a 120 cm bed, bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the spacious terrace area there is a grill and summer furniture for cozy breakfasts or relaxing barbecue evenings where you can sit and discuss the day's adventures or plan tomorrow's excursions while the sun sets in the northwest. The cottage also has an annex equipped with two single beds. The cottage has Wi-Fi connection. In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, a rich restaurant scene, pleasant shopping in small shops that are located close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. If you want to experience more islands and archipelago environments, there are several boat charters and boat trips from the harbor in the center out to several archipelago islands such as Furholmen or the Koster Islands, but also to neighboring Norway.
