Welcome to Väddö in Norrtälje and this old farm from the early 19th century with a Bullerby feel, where you live comfortably in this charming house renovated in 2012. Here you live surrounded by beautiful meadows and a stone's throw from Lake Bornan with a sandy beach, with a convenient distance to the archipelago, beautiful nature and service! In this lovely farm environment you can find peace and quiet, listen to the silence and birdsong. The accommodation is part of a farmstead. You have your own separate garden with outdoor furniture. In the kitchen there is a nice dining area and an old wood stove, otherwise equipped with what you need. In the bedroom there is a soapstone stove whose crackling fire provides inspiration for reading and conversation in a nice sitting area, as well as two single beds where you sleep comfortably. In the second bedroom you can socialize on two comfortable sofas, one of which is a sofa bed for two people. There is also a bunk bed with the remaining two beds. From this bedroom you reach the large bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. In the entrance there is a guest toilet with sink. The farm is very beautifully situated with the grounds sloping down towards Lake Bornan, close to the Åland Sea and large forests. Here you can take a morning swim in a calm lake, be close to dramatic sea bathing and pick mushrooms and berries in large forests. Take peaceful forest walks in the nature-protected troll forests around Lake Bornan or hike on the Roslagsleden trail along the sea on Väddö. In the immediate vicinity there is Ortalabruk - an old ironworks from the 17th century, there is the opportunity to play tennis, paddle and rent a boat in Älmsta and play golf at Väddö golf course. In the nearby town of Älmsta there are several shops; a large grocery store, pharmacy and several restaurants and a Maritime Museum which is well worth a visit. If you want a larger selection, there is everything you could possibly need in central Norrtölje, which in itself is worth a visit! A half hour drive away is Grisslehamn on the Sea of Åland with a fishing port – smokehouses, Albert Engström's museum, café, restaurants and the Eckerö Linjen.
